Uniting Care Werribee Support
& Housing, is a community based organisation that aims to provide support
and accommodation for homeless people between the ages of 12 to 65 who
are linked to the municipality of Wyndham by family, employment or friendship
networks.

The Agency provides services which aim to:
Youth Housing Program
Offers medium to long term accommodation to young people aged 16 to 24 in two independent living units. The units are situated throughout the municipality of Wyndham.
Housing Support Workers
Housing support workers assist young people to access Priority Housing applications and bond assistance. A referral service is offered to young people who are unable to be housed. The youth housing worker provides support with budgeting, education, employment and living skills.
Generalist Housing
Generalist Housing offers medium to long term accommodation and support to homeless people aged 18 - 65. Support is offered to tenants in 10 houses/units and 2 of the 3 bedroom houses are set aside for people escaping domestic violence and large families needing priority housing. Bond assistance and a referral service is also provided.
Crisis Supported Housing For Families
Crisis Supported Housing for families offers emergency accommodation and support to families for up to six weeks. Service provided includes case management support; referrals to appropriate services; and support in securing transitional or long term housing. The service is for any family who resides in the municipality of Whydham and who is in a housing crisis.
Bridges - Adolescent Community Placement
This is an innovative program for adolescents between the ages of 12 to 18. It involves the placement of young people with carefully selected and trained caregivers in the community who have been recruited, assessed, trained and accredited through the adolescent community placement program. This is an emergency service, short or long term, depending on the requirement.
New carers are always needed and recruitment occurs annually.
Youth Mediation Program
This is a neutral 'no blame' service which helps young people and their parents or caregivers to sort out family hassles before they get to crisis stage. In addition young people and/or parents or caregivers are seen alone or as a family and assisted to:
