ProfileUnitingCare Werribee Support & Housing began in the early 80’s when congregation members of Crossroads Uniting Church and the Presbytery of Maribyrnong Valley became concerned about local youth homelessness.

We obtained a grant and established Werribee Youth Housing Inc. in 1985. Since then additional funding was secured for a range of support services and our name was changed to Werribee Support and Housing Inc.

In 2002 we became part of UnitingCare Victoria &Tasmania as UnitingCare Werribee Support & Housing (UCWS&H).

Over the years additional funding has enabled us to address identified needs in our rapidly expanding local community.

The volunteers at Care and Concern have been helping the needy in the local area for decades. After years of cooperation, Care and Concern became part of UCWS&H in 2005, since then it has been an integral part of our organisation.
