Profile:

Uniting Care Werribee Support & Housing was established in the early 1980’s through congregation members of Crossroads Uniting Church and the Presbytery of Maribyrnong who were concerned about local youth homelessness. Since this time, the Organisation has grown to include a range of support services to meet the growing needs of people within the community who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. In 2002 the organisation became part of UnitingCare Victoria and Tasmania.

Our Purpose

As a part of the mission of the Uniting Church of Australia, UnitingCare Werribee Support & Housing is committed to supporting individuals, families and the Wyndham community through advocacy and the provision of housing and support services. We express this commitment in the following Statement of Purpose:

Our Vision

Our vision of the future is the focal point for our Strategic Plan. The key strategies and associated strategic objectives are intended to enable us to realise our vision. Our vision is to provide high quality housing and support services that promote individual, family and community well-being whilst advocating for a strong and just local community. Our vision is encapsulated in the following Statement of Vision:
